What does real face mean in EA FC Career Mode?+
Real face means the player has an authentic in-game face scan rather than a generated face. Some Career Mode players prefer real face signings for immersion.

Yes. The real face preset shows players with authentic in-game face scans, and you can combine it with position, age, rating, potential, club and league filters.
Do real face players play differently?+
No. Real face status is visual only. It does not change a player’s rating, potential, attributes or performance.

Use the wonderkids preset or filter players by age, potential and growth. A good starting point is players aged 21 or under with 80+ potential and strong growth.
What does growth mean in Career Mode?+
Growth is the difference between a player’s current overall rating and their potential rating. For example, a 68-rated player with 84 potential has +16 growth.
What is the difference between overall and potential?+
Overall is a player’s current ability rating. Potential is the highest rating that player can naturally grow towards in Career Mode.
How do I find cheap players with high potential?+
Use the value and wage filters together with potential and growth. This helps find players who have a high ceiling but are still affordable for smaller Career Mode clubs.
How do I find contract expiring players?+
Use the contract expiry filter to find players whose deals end soon. These players may be easier to sign for reduced fees or as future free agents in Career Mode.
