A good wonderkid is usually 21 or younger with high potential and strong growth. The best wonderkids can develop into long-term starters while still being affordable early in a save.
A strong starting point is 80+ potential, although elite Career Mode wonderkids often have 85+ potential. For lower-league saves, players with 75+ potential and good growth can still be excellent signings.
Growth shows the gap between a player’s current overall and potential. A player with high growth may be raw at first but can improve significantly over multiple seasons.
Use the wonderkids preset or filter players by age, potential and growth. A good starting point is players aged 21 or under with 80+ potential and strong growth.
